What health calculators can tell you

Health numbers help you set a goal and track it. BMI gives you a quick read on weight relative to height. Calorie and BMR tools show how much energy your body uses. These calculators turn a few inputs into numbers you can act on.

Take BMI as an example. A BMI between 18.5 and 24.9 sits in the normal range for most adults. The tool gives you that number in one step. It does not measure muscle or body fat, so read it as a starting point, not a final verdict.

The calorie and BMR tools work the same way. Enter your age, height, weight, and activity level. The BMR tool shows the calories you burn at rest. The calorie tool adds your daily activity on top. Use both to plan meals or set a weight goal.
